[8],14 pp. plus chromolithographic title page and 100 chromolithographic plates, each accompanied by one leaf of text (recto in English, verso in French). Folio. Full green morocco, spine title and ornamented in gilt, raised bands, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. Contemporary engraved bookplate of John Dunkin. Binding a bit scuffed, extremities rubbed, some contents lightly foxed, almost exlusively in margins. Very good. A luxe volume of color plates from the Great London Exhibition, the 1862 World's Fair. The plates, printed from photographic images by Day & Son, "Lithographers to the Queen and H.R.H. the Prince of Wales," show a wide range of fine, devotional, and decorative arts. Very Good.
