Venice. Three works by Domenico Cavalca (1270-1342), 1543. 16mo bound in old or original vellum, minor library marks else very good with what appears to be a later front pastedown and no rear flyleaf; some worming to the final section. Separate title pages, each featuring the same engraving; a few engraved initials. Title scripted on spine in an old hand. Rare, with no copies of this particular edition on OCLC. Cavalca was a Dominican friar who settled in Pisa and devoted much of his life to the moral education of women. Toward the end of his life he founded the convent of Santa Marta in Pisa. Very Good.
