Dated 1867, measuring approximately 17 x 10 inches unfolded, 4 pp, printed and handwritten portions, with stamps and seals, signed in two places by Abraham Overholt, apparently not signed by any Frick. Some wear and soil including a few short tears. About very good. An important deed, connecting Henry Clay Frick's grandfather, the wealthy rye whiskey distiller Abraham Overholt, with Henry's father, John W. Frick, an unsuccessful businessman. It was Overholt who gave the young Frick some mentorship in good business practice. Good.
