Chicago: Rand McNally, Probable first edition, 1915, with advertised titles on the back of the (rare) jacket for items printed in 1914. 8vo (6.5 inches high), lavender cloth with color pictorial cover onlay, approximately 50 pp, with quite a few color plates and black and white plates, very good with moderate handling and finger smudges to pages, minor soil to the rear cover of the book itself, dust jacket good, complete, with moderate finger soil, light wear along spine. Xmas 1918 pencil inscription on flyleaf. Part of the Dotty and Dolly series; at the end of the book, after defeating the mouse (we guess a rat was just too offensive), the soldiers have a picnic outside with the twins Dotty and Dolly. Hurrah! Very Good / good.
