Madrid: Joachin Ibarra, Edition in Spanish published by the great Ibarra in Madrid, 1760, 4 volumes, large 8vo, original vellum, , 290, , 343, , 293 p., , 346 pp. A very good set. Many of the OCLC citations are for single volumes. This set, the author's most famous work, was first published in Valenca in 1746. Verney's regalist orientation is seen even in the title, where behavior and study are to be practiced for the good of the republic. RARE on the market although Verney was one of the most influential and oft-cited critics of his time. Very Good.
