Philadelphia: Everts, Ensign & Everts, Published 1876, folio (17 inches), 159 pp, 52 colored maps, some double page, 83 lithographed views of buildings, farms, homesteads, businesses, horses, oil wells, etc. Appears to be complete and includes double-page railroad map of US, double-page map of Penna, and double-page map of Crawford County. Contents in good condition overall, mainly very good, some foxing and sporadic soil and smudges to plates, first few pages (title page, contents page and versos of USA and PA maps) have some taping, and three or four instances of tape to edges of pages, usually not much of a stain and inch long or less, the majority of the plates are in good frameable condition; a few other tears to edges have been neatly and nearly invisibly mended. Boards shelfworn and show some cloth loss, spine reinforced neatly with cloth. Meadeville, Titusville get double-page treatment plus many litho plates. Lots in the way of early oil derrick imagery in the plates, too, since Crawford was near the epicenter of the Drake oil-rush. Good.
