Very light wear to spine label. Born was an English-born labor organizer, anarchist and Whitmanite who moved to America. She helped organize the dockworkers' strike in Britain in 1889, but became disenchanted with socialism after reading Herbert Spencer and used his ideas as the basis of her anarchism. She died of cancer in Boston in 1901. Very Good.
