Lot of 21 dining menus for dinner and luncheon. On folded cardstock 10.5 x 8.25 inches (26.5 x 21 cm). Each is printed with charming color cover, many with metallic overlays. Includes: 9 R.M.S. Queen Elizabeth menus, dated Thursday July 10, 1947 - Monday July 14 (a complete run); 6 Caronia menus dated Tuesday, July 12, 1949 - Sunday July 17; 6 Mauretania menus dated Thursday February 16, 1950 - Tuesday, February 16. With 2 Union-Castle Line "Stirling Castle" Menus From May 26, 1949. Also included are various ephemera from the Queen Elizabeth: 2 postcards detailing the itinerary for New York - South Hampton (both ways), a breakfast menu, a 'Race Card', used for on-board entertainment, and a Programme of performances for a Saturday. All items are in VG+ or better condition, with menus all remaining fresh and crisp, with lovely illustrations.
